Seventh Grade Classroom Expectations
1.Work hard and be kind!
2.Listen and be attentive; do not distract others from learning in any way.
3.Be in your seat when the bell rings unless the teacher has asked you to handle classroom business.
4.Come to class prepared with the necessary materials.
5.Hall passes are required to leave the classroom.
6.Do your own work and complete it on time.
7.The teacher, not the bell, dismisses the class.
Homework
1. Students will be provided with a planner. Assignments for each class are to be written in this daily.
2. Parents, please monitor this planner daily.
3. Homework MUST be completed. Safety Net and Lunch Time Detention may be assigned for missing or late work.
4. Assignments are put on Mrs. May’s web page on the school website.
Materials needed daily: paper. pencil planner (provided by the school) Chromebook (provided by the school)

Grading Scale Grade Distribution
90-100% A Approximately:
80-89% B Tests 50%
70-79% C Quizzes 25%
60-69% D Homework 25%
0-59% F
Danger Zone
There will be a Danger Zone posted in each classroom. If a student is not meeting the classroom expectations, his/her name will be added to the list. If expectations are still not met, a check will be added and the student will receive an LTD ( Lunch Time Detention.) This remains posted for one week then the slate will be wiped clean.
